Hopkins & Allen Arms Co Model The Junior Repeater (No. 4922), 22 CAL, MFG 1906-15, SN: None, Bolt Action, Tubular Magazine holds 16 short or 12 L/LR, 22'' round barrel. The only bolt action rifle H&A ever produced. Its a take-down breaking in two at 18 1/2'' & 22 1/2'' with a single take down screw. The original straight grip wood stocks are good & appear top carry the original finish. The stock has a couple of 2 to 3'' cracks at the bell of stock against the take-down location. The stock also displays numerous small contusions & scratches, with some chipping at the toe. The metal blue finish has worn to a mostly gun metal grey. Bore has gain twist rifling & is very good. Replaced rear sight & period front sight. Smooth metal buttplate. Missing a screw on right side of forearm. Rifle retailed for $7.75 according to a 1906 ad. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
