The Hamilton Rifle Co. Model 15, 22 SHORT, MFG: 1902-10 SN: NONE, Under Lever Single Shot Rifle, 8'' round barrel. 27 1/2'' overall length. Original wood stock is fair & solid, The original finish is mostly worn off, as it displays multiple contusions, scratches & several small holes on the left side of the stock. The metal blue finish is worn away, with an uneven layer of red/brown patina, some pitting & rust spots. Steel rolled barrel, with original brass liner. The 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16'', r.h. twist, is poor with smoothed rifling, but clean. Barrel fitted with blade front sight & stamped sheet metal adjustable rear peep sight. Original thin metal buttplate. Just under 235,000 produced. A rare example in worn, but original condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 80 to 250
