The Hamilton Rifle Co. Model 31, 22 CAL. (S. & L.), MFG: 1910-1913, SN: NONE, Single Shot, Tip-up Break Action Rifle, 15 3/4'' round barrel. 30'' overall length. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good with minimal surface wear & light scratches. The original finish has worn flat, but does not look sanded. Original metal blue finish is worn to a greenish gun metal gray, but there is spotty areas of blue left in protected areas. Steel rolled barrel, with original brass liner. The 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16'', r.h. twist, is fair. Thumb lever locking mechanism located right of hammer. Original half moon front blade & fixed rear sights. Factory thin metal buttplate. Still a nice mostly original example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
