C.G. Bonehill, Double Hammer Shotgun, 12 ga., SN: 10062, Antique, London, 30'' matted solid rib laminated steel barrels, with silver front bead. IC/IC, Extractor. The original round metal capped pistol grip & hand checkered stocks are very good. Horn tip in the forend & a silver initial medallion in the stock. Smoothing of the checkering. The stocks appear to retain the original finish, thinning from use, with some older added oils. There is a small 1'' pin repaired chip on the right side of the wrist against the receiver, which is tight. There are also 1'' long slivers of missing wood along each side edge of the forend. Stocks carry numerous small scratches & minor contusions. The laminated steel barrels have an attractive pattern beneath a lovely chocolate brown patina layer. The case-hardened receiver has worn mostly gray with a thin layering of brown/gray patina. The receiver, lockplates, lever release & hammers all have decorative edge & scroll engraving. The words ''C.G. Bonehill London'' is engraved on both sides of the sideplates. Bores are very good. Fitted with a widow's peak metal buttplate. Double triggers. The release lever has play does function well. 14 1/4'' LOP, DAC 2 3/8'', DAH 3 7/8'', 7.96lbs. A nice looking & solid antique double. No FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 600
