Lefever, Model Nitro Special, 20 ga., MFG. 1923, SN: 136410, Double barrel break action shotgun, 2 3/4'' I.Cyl & Full, 28'' barrels marked 2 & 4. The original checkered & round pistol grip stocks are good & solid. The stocks have been sanded & refinished, leaving evidence of minor scratches & contusions. The checkering on the forearm is original & worn from use, while the checkering on the pistol grip has been re-cut & is crisp. The barrels have been re-blued, with 75% remaining. Stampings have been thinned & buff lines exist under the added blue. The receiver has also had an added finish attempted with splotchy results. Matching SN stamped on bottom of barrels, inside receiver, underside of forend & on forend locking structure. Bores are very good. Checkered black plastic buttplate. LOP 13 3/4'', DAC 1 3/4 '', DAH 3 '' Weight: 6.26 pounds. A very usable double. FFL & C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
