RARE EARLY DELUXE Winchester Model 42 Deluxe, 410 GA., MFG. 1933, SN: 5029. Pump Action Shotgun, 3'', MOD choke, 26'' round barrel, Take-down. This was likely one of the earliest special order factory deluxe shotguns before deluxe 42's were catalogued. Original factory deluxe checkered, flat pistol grip wood stocks are original, solid & in excellent condition. Displaying nearly all the original finish with only minor scuffs, contusions & surface scratches. There are numerous tiny edge nicks around the edge of the pistol grip. The stock carries beautiful rippled grain, while the forearm has lovely dork figure. The metal blue rates 85% on barrel, 75% on receiver & tube. Most blue loss due to normal wear, fading & pump action. Bore is excellent. Barrel fitted with front bead. The Winchester buttplate is a bit ill fitting. 13 7/8'' LOP. Rare as one of the earlies deluxe models produced, which remains in very nice factory original condition. A highly sought after collectors example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 4000 to 6000
