BOXED, Winchester Model 42 Field Grade, 410 Ga., MFG. 1957, SN:144202, Pump Action Shotgun, 3'', Full choke, 28'' round barrel , Take-down. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent & solid. The original finish condition is excellent, with some light thinning around the edges, minor bruising & a couple of small contusions. The factory metal blue finish is 98% on barrel, 95% on receiver, 90% on tube. Majority loss of blue is from pump action & very light surface blemishes on the receiver. Bore is excellent. Buttplate is original. Factory front sight bead. Comes with correctly labeled factory box, original tissue, dividers & brochure. Box is a bit tattered on corners. LOP 13 3/4''. A very nice boxed & collectible 42. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 2400 to 3400
