Winchester Model 42 Field Grade, CAL: 410GA, MFG: 1933, First year production, SN: 3726, Pump Action Shotgun, 26'' Plain barrel. 3'', Choke: Full. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. The stock was lightly sanded & professionally refinished, & remains without defects to the finish. The original forearm carries the original finish with some thinning & few flaws. The original metal blue finish rates 85% on the barrel, receiver & mag tube with normal handling wear & light surface blemishes. Bore is excellent. The mag tube holds a corn cob forearm. Barrel has front sight bead. Buttstock has a factory Winchester, black plastic buttplate. LOP: 13 3/4''. This is a first year, pre war gun in great condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
