Colt Model GOLDEN SPIKE, .22 Cal. Single Action Revolver, MFG 1969, SN: 10953GS, 6'' barrel. Made to commemorate the 100 year Anniversary of the meeting of the trains & the placement of the gold spike. The top of the barrel has the one-line address, the left side has ''Colt Single Action Frontier Scout .22 LR''. The right side of barrel is stamped''(1869-Golden Spike -1969)''. The wood grips with Rampant Colt emblem are excellent with no S/N. Condition is overall excellent as original high gloss blue is retained at 98%, but with areas of rust speckling. The Gold finish on cylinder, hammer, trigger & extractor tube is excellent at 99%. Bore is excellent. The action remains excellent & the markings are distinct.
