RARE Factory Engraved High Standard Supermatic Trophy 1972 Olympic Commemorative Semi-Automatic Pistol with wood presentation case with red felt lining & key. S/N: T0000006, MFG in 1972. 5 1/2'' barrel. Factory engraved by Master Engraver Walter Kolouch formally of Austria. Was designed by High Standard Olympic hero Joe Benner, winner of the gold medal in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics in the 50 Meter free pistol event. 1 of 1000 offered. The engraving covers 75% of the gun and at the time was referred as Class C Engraving. Has five Gold inlaid Olympic Rings on right side of slide. Has thumb rest walnut checkered grips that are mint. The overall blue metal finish is 99% +. The bore is mint. Mechanically excellent condition. The trigger has some light tarnish that could be cleaned. Overall condition is 99%.
