CASED Browning (Belgium) Model ''Hi-Power'', CAL: 9mm Luger, MFG: 1976-1997, SN: 245BC0084, Semi-Auto Pistol, 4 3/4'' barrel. The original checkered high gloss finish grips with beaded borders are excellent with virtually no blemishes. The French grey finish is excellent. Engraved banner indicates 1 of 5000 engraved by Dany Matagne, signed on right rear side of slide. Engraving consists of ornamental patterns with intricate background & an eagle's head on each side of the front of the slide. There is also an eagle & bobcat battling on top of slide & JMB's profile engraved on rear opf slide. Bore is excellent. The slide holds a fixed rear & blade front sights. 13 round magazine. The pistol comes in original blue velvet lined oak box with key, Although this pistol is marked 1/5000, research seems to indicate only 2500 were ever made. FFL Req. - Value: 2500 to 5000
