Boxed Savage, Model 1917, Cal. 380 ACP, Semi-Auto, Mfg. 1920's, SN: 24707B, 4 1/4'' barrel, The model 1917 is a variant of the model 1907 that was manufactured from 1920-28 & is easily distinguishable by the oversized grip. The original checkered plastic grips are very good & feature a Savage Indian profile logo on both sides. This is the later variation with the tighter serrations on slide & standard blued finish. Finish is thinning & toning gray. Bore is very good. Factory double-stack two-toned magazine. Tight action. Original sights. Likely a good shooter. Original box is tattered, with torn corners & missing front flap. Held together with tape at corners. Box contains original paperwork & red & yellow hang tag envelope with Savage Guarantee paper. Also comes with a bag with 14 rounds of Rem-UMC .380. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
