Winchester, Model 1873 Musket, Third variation, .44 Cal., MFG. 1880, SN: 368631B, Lever Action Rifle, 30'' Round barrel, Full mag, The original Full musket wood stocks are very good & solid. The stocks have been sanded & refinished, showing nicks, scratches & minor contusions. The metal surfaces have some original aged finish, with brown patina having been added. There is a light scattering of rust speckled pits on the receiver. Script engraved caliber marking on the brass receiver block & top of barrel. Bore is excellent. Fitted with a flip-up ladder rear sight (2-8 scale) & 1873 musket front sight. Stock carries a crescent metal carbine buttplate with trapdoor. Original dust cover is tight & slides smoothly. Factory sling swivels. An old musket rifle, with a nice aged appearance. No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
