Winchester, Model 1894 SRC, marked .30 WCF Cal., MFG. 1903, SN: 173792, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. This is an early turn of the century Old West ranch carbine. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, with the original finish & patina. There are numerous scrapes, scratches & contusions, consistent with ranch use. The metal surfaces have worn mostly gun metal gray, with spotty dark areas & a thin brown patina. The metal has lots of small dings & abrasions also consistent with saddle & ranch use. Bore is very good, with strong rifling & some roughness. Barrel carries an upgraded three leaf rear & carbine box post front sights. Carbine metal buttplate. Saddle ring lug is vacant. Tight smooth action. An original & authentic ranch carbine with some stories to tell. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
