RARE Winchester, Model 1895 FLATSIDE, CAL. marked 30 US, MFG. 1896, SN: 1347 (2nd YEAR), Lever Action, 28'' Tapered round barrel. The original wood stocks are excellent & solid. Parts of the stocks have been lightly sanded & correctly refinished. It has a few light handling marks & contusions. The Schnabel forend has an inlayed ebony tip. The metal blue finish is a mix of original blue & added finish, with 70% coverage. Bore is very good, with strong rifling & some roughness. Fitted with an adjustable rear & blade front sight. Original Winchester crescent metal buttplate. This was John Browning's first design to incorporate a box type mag. An attractive & collectible 2nd rifle.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
