Winchester, Model 64, marked 25-35, MFG. 1933-57, SN: 1300533, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel, mag holds 7 rounds. This is one of the rarer & fewer made Winchester models produced, with only 66,783 total rifles. Of those made, the 25-35 is amongst the rarest calibers & typically brings a premium of up to 3 times that of the more common calibers. The original pistol grip wood stocks on this example are excellent. The finish is original & excellent, with a few minor scuffs, dings & edge wear. The original metal blue finish is 90% on barrel & receiver, with some speckles of rust on the barrel. The lever has greater loss on the underside toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. The rifle carries an adjustable Lyman receiver peep sight, a blank filled rear dovetail & a front ramp sight missing the hood. Checkered factory metal buttplate. A high condition, original example & collector's level rifle in one of the most desirable calibers. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
