Marlin, Model 336SC, marked .219 ZIPPER Cal., MFG. 1957, SN: 29727, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Round barrel, 5 Shot 2/3 mag., The ''SC'' stands for sporting carbine. The factory capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent & solid. The original finish is excellent, with a few scuffs, scratches or minor contusions. The original metal blue finish is 95% on the receiver, barrel & mag, with some light speckled rust. The stock carries the original hard rubber buttplate. Barrel carries adjustable flip-up rear & gold bead ramp front sights. Bore is excellent. Action is smooth & tight. Bullseye in stock. These SC .219 Zippers were only produced from 1955-60 with total production being 3,230. These are fairly rare & sought amongst collectors. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
