Savage, Model 99E, marked .300 Savage Cal., MFG. 1965, SN: 1088510, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Tapered round barrel, The factory straight grip wood stocks are very good & carry much of the original finish, but do have numerous scrapes, scuffs & scratches. The factory metal blue finish is 95% on barrel, 85% on receiver & visible case-colors on the lever. The stock carries the original serrated hard rubber buttplate. The barrel is fitted with the original adjustable rear & standard front sights. Bore is excellent. Stocks have open holes from missing sling studs or swivels. Action is smooth & tight. A solid vintage 99 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
