BOXED Winchester Model 1885 Limited Series, CAL: 38-55 WIN ONLY, MFG: Modern, SN: 00040MV85H, Lever Action Single Shot Rifle, 28'' octagon barrel. The factory checkered straight grip walnut wood stocks are excellent, displaying a few finish level scuffs. The original deep metal blue finish rates 99% overall on the barrel, receiver, lever & buttplate. Bore is excellent with defined rifling. The rifle is fitted with a flip-up tang peep sight, adjustable elevator buckhorn rear & blade front sights. Buttstock carries a smooth metal crescent buttplate. Sling studs, with leather sling in box. Comes in original box with literature. FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
