Description

German Model Falling Block Single Shot, CAL: 5,4mm (.22 cal.), MFG: 1900's, SN: 3074, Lever Action Falling Block Single Shot, 26 1/4'' octagon barrel, with matted top flat. The checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks, with cheek, are excellent, displaying fabulous grain & finish. There is a small 1/2'' chip repair on the toe of the buttplate & a few small surface scrapes near the wrist. The forearm has a Schnabel tip & beavertail sides. Under the forearm are numerous production & proof stampings, 9.21/20, SN 3074 & 5,4mm The metal blue finish rates 80% on the barrel, with intermittent speckled rust. The case-hardened receiver has faded to outlines of toned brown patina on a gun metal grey base. Spur Lever. Double set trigger. The rifle is fitted with an 18 1/2'' J.W. Malcolm scope & a blade front sight for open provisions. Bore is excellent, with crisp rifling. Single sling loop on barrel. The buttstock holds a checkered black plastic buttplate with recessed pigeon. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
