Bohler Stahl (German), Model Custom Commercial Mauser, CAL: 270, MFG: 1952 SN: 4505, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' Tapered round barrel. The original checkered, cheeked, capped pistol grip, & Monte Carlo wood stock is excellent, displaying nearly all of the original finish. The forend has an ebony tip & carries fabulous hand carved oak leaves, acorns & stippled background. The stock has few defects from use. The receiver carries hand engraving, as does the monogramed trigger guard (HH) & the relief engraved floorplate with a fantastic bugling elk amongst a wooded scene. The metal blue finish is 95% overall. Bore is excellent with defined rifling. Rifle fitted with a Kahles-Wien H/26 2-6X scope, mount & rings, with folding leaf rear & ramp front sights. Buttstock carries a black plastic buttplate & sling loops. Double set triggers. An excellent custom built European bolt action rifle.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
