Savage Model Sporter 23B, CAL: 25-20, MFG: 1923-42, SN: 69254, Bolt Action Rifle, 24 1/2'' round barrel. Detachable box mag. The original pistol grip wood stock is excellent, displaying only a few minor nicks & dings to the original finish. The metal blue finish rates 90% overall with majority loss from some light surface blemishes & wear from use & age. Bore is very good, with mild roughness. The rifle carries a Lyman receiver mounted peep sight, with a replaced lever adjuster. The barrel has a blank filled dovetail & blade front sight. The buttstock carries an original Savage smooth metal buttplate. Original mag. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
