Standard Arms, Model G, .25 REM Cal., MFG. 1909-11, SN: 6676, Pump or Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' Round barrel, The original wood stock is very good, with an elaborate cast brass forearm & buttplate. Stock carries the original finish, which has worn thin, with the remaining finish having crinkled with age & temp. The stock has oil soaked staining at wrist & carries numerous small scuffs, scratches & contusions. The factory metal blue finish is 70% thinning in areas to a light brown patina. Bore is very good. Factory rear sight & period front sight missing the bead. The first gas operated rifle in the USA, which can be converted to manual pump by turning valve. Interesting old rifle.
