Remington, Model 14, .32 REM, MFG. 1913, SN:10269, Pump Action Take-down Rifle, 22'' barrel. Second yr. rifle. The flat pistol grip wood stocks are fair, having been cut/split the length of the stock in order to repair the cracks at the wrist with a metal plate inlay on each side. The forearm also has a 2 1/2'' crack & missing wood chip. Despite the cracks, the stocks are solid. The receiver has a soldered metal plate at the rear of the receiver which appears to be part of the stock repair. The metal has worn mostly gun metal gray. The barrel carries an updated adjustable Remington rear sight & a standard front sight. The stock carries a homemade metal buttplate with black spacer. Bore is very good, bright, with strong rifling. Tight smooth action. A well used rifle, but one that appears to function well & with lots of life left. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 500
