Remington, Model 8, .30 REM, MFG. 1924, SN:49882, Semi-Auto Rifle, Take-down, 22'' barrel. The original factory checkered & flat pistol grip wood stocks are very good, carrying an added layer of finish over the factory finish. There are several small handling marks, along with a 3'' scratch on the right side of stock. The metal surfaces have been reblued, with evidence of light pitting under blue & some stamping worn thin after buffing. The current blue finish rates 90% on barrel, 85% on the receiver. Original crescent metal buttplate carries some speckled rust. Replaced Marbles buckhorn rear & standard front sights. Bore is very good. A very nice looking & factory upgraded rifle.
