Winchester, Model Self Loading 1905, marked 35 Cal., MFG. 1905, SN: 8190, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' Tapered round barrel. This is an early first year rifle. The original wood stocks are very good, having much of the original finish. The stock has a couple of 2'' & 3'' long deep scratches along the belly by the toe. The forend does not appear to have the typical cracks, which virtually all of these Winchester semi-autos possess. Metal blue finish is a combination of original remains & added cold blue. Top of receiver has been scrubbed, with deep pitting & cold blued. Stock carries a well worn Winchester hard rubber buttplate, Bore is very good, with some roughness. Adjustable rear & period front sights. 5 shot magazine. Less than 30,000 total production between 1905 & 1924. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
