Winchester, Model Self Loading 1910, marked 401 Cal., MFG. 1929, SN: 19567, Semi-Auto Rifle, 20'' Tapered round barrel. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, with original finish. The forend has a tight, nicely repaired forend crack & added finish on the right side, which is typical of virtually all of these Winchester semi-autos. The original metal blue finish is 80% on the receiver, 70% on the barrel. Stock carries a Winchester hard plastic buttplate, Bore is good, with some roughness. Rifle carries an adjustable Lyman receiver sight, blank filled rear dovetail & standard front sight. 4 shot magazine. There are an additional two screw filled holes on the left side of the receiver. Forend cap also has a vacant hole likely from a previous sling stud. Less than 21,000 total production between 1910 & 1936. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
