RARE NICKEL TRIMMED Winchester, Model 90 3rd variation, .22 SHORT Cal., MFG. 1925, SN: 702748, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Tapered Octagon barrel, Wood stock is very good, original & solid. The original factory finish has darkened with age & oils The barrel is a factory replacement carrying 95% metal blue finish. 70% on the mag tube, which has a non-professional alteration to the loading port. The receiver, tangs, trigger guard & crescent buttplate are nickeled, retaining 70% of the coverage, with the greatest wear on the lower tang & trigger guard. Bore is excellent, Barrel carries a factory adjustable rear sight. The front sight is a home modified large globe with single wire wrapped around a retention screw. Scarce as nickel trimmed short gallery 90.. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
