Winchester, Model 1906, .22 S. L. LR., MFG. 1919, SN: 588983, Take-down Pump Action Rifle, 20'' round barrel. The original wood stock is good & solid, as sanded & refinished. The rifle carries an original 1890's style forend, with well worn original finish. Stocks carry numerous blemishes, nicks, dings & contusions. The metal surfaces are worn mostly silver with thin brown layer & protected areas with some remains of original blue finish. Bore is good. Upper tang once held a tang sight, but is now mission the large retention screw. No rear sight & replaced front sight. Stock carries a well worn original plastic buttplate.
