J. Stevens Arms Company, Model 70 Visible Loading Repeater, .22 S., L. & LR. Cal., MFG. 1907-34, SN:E503, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The factory original wood stocks are excellent & solid. The stocks carry the original finish, with several minor finish level handling marks, light scratches & contusions. There is a 1/4'' chip on the edge of the pistol grip. The original metal blue finishes are retained at 90% on the barrel, 70% on mag tube & 40% on the receiver. Most of the loss due to natural flake loss on the receiver. Original rear & front sights. Crescent metal buttplate. Action is solid & tight. Very nice original example.
