Winchester, Model 55, Marked .22 S. L. or LR. Cal., MFG. 1958-61, SN: None, Top Loading Single Shot Rifle, 22'' round barrel. Original factory wood is very good, with thinned factory finish, from normal use wear. Several minor scuffs & small contusions. The original metal blue finish is 90%, with some light speckling. Bore is excellent. Factory front & rear sights, with elevator missing from rear sight. Added sling studs, with previous owner carving away a flat spot in stock for rear stud. Factory plastic buttplate. Only 45,000 produced. A good original Winchester .22. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
