Winchester Model 52, marked 22 LONG R, MFG: 1932, SN:27724, Mag fed bolt action rifle, 23'' Heavy round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid. It carries the majority of the original finish with thinning loss at pistol grip & forend. It displays numerous blemishes, minor scratches & contusions. The original metal blue finish on barrel is 95%, while the blue has mostly flaked away on the receiver & triggerguard developing a browning patina in areas of loss. Bore is excellent. Fitted with a receiver mounted Winchester 82a adjustable ladder sight & a ramp front sight. Barrel carries two scope mount blocks. Stock carries a Pachmayr Thin red buttpad which is a bit tattered. Sling loops on lower stock & forward barrel band. ''W'' marked mag. The barrel & forend of the stock may have both been shortened to current lengths, but if so, it was very well & professionally done. A high quality, heavier barreled bolt action rifle.
