C.J Hamilton & Sons Model 43, 22 CAL L & S, MFG: 1924-1932, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 15 3/4'' round tapered barrel. 35'' overall length. An upgrade of the model 23, but with no external manual cocking knob. The straight grip board type walnut stock is very good, as non-professionally refinished. It displays a few tight grain cracks & several minor contusions & surface blemishes. Original metal blue finish has aged to a brown patina with 25% coverage. The steel rolled barrel carries the original brass liner, which has a worn & rough bore. 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16''. Factory blade front & fixed rear sight. Carries no buttplate. ''S'' shaped trigger guard. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
