J. Stevens Arms Co. Model Ideal 44, marked .22-LR Cal., MFG: 1894-1916, SN: 13872, Falling Block, Lever Single Shot Rifle, 24'' Heavy 1/2 octagon 1/2 round target barrel. The wood stocks are very good & solid, with the original finish. The stock has two 2'' hairline cracks along the lower tang & multiple scratches, nicks & dings. The metal blue finish has fully toned a plum/brown patina, with some blemishes & speckling. Bore is very good with defined rifling. The barrel carries an adjustable rear sight & Rocky Mountain blade front sight. Crescent metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
