The Hamilton Rifle Co. Model 11, .22 Cal, MFG: 1901-1903, SN: NONE, Pivot Barrel Single Shot Rifle, 8'' round barrel. 30 3/4'' OAL. The model 11 is simply the model 7 with a thin, board-like walnut stock with rounded edges. The departure from the all-metal skeleton frame was solely due to dealer demand. The thin walnut stock condition is excellent, with a fairly clear company Trademark stamping on the left side & light wear. The majority, 80%, of the original nickel finish remains on the metal surfaces. Steel rolled barrel, with original brass liner. The 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16'', r.h. twist, is poor with smoothed rifling, but clean. Integral blade front sight & original stamped non-adjustable rear sight. Original thin metal buttplate. Even rarer than the model 7 with only 21,860 produced, this model is rarely encountered in such high original condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 800
