Mortimer, Double Hammer Shotgun, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: Antique, SN: None, Black Powder Muzzleloader SxS Shotgun, 27'' barrels ''Fine Laminated Steel'' marked on rib. The checkered pistol grip wood stock is very good, as sanded refinished. Great grain & an inlaid silver shield in belly of stock. The forend has an inlaid wood repair in the middle of the recut checkering. Wood displays multiple small contusions, scuffs & edge chips mainly along edge of forend. The barrels, triggerguard, sideplates & buttplate all carry a rust brown appearance, with speckles & rust pitting. The hammers & dual triggers appear to function correctly with replaced newer nipples. Bores are fair, dark & worn. The solid rib carries a front sight bead. Ramrod housed under barrels. Overall, a very nice appearance on an antique firearm. OP: 14 3/8'', DAH: 2 1/2'', DAC: 1 1/2''. Antique, NO FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
