J. Stevens Arms Co. Model 5100, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1931-41, SN: None, Break Action SxS Shotgun, Choke: F/M, 29 1/2'' selected forged steel barrels. The left side of the receiver displays a small engraving of a dog in a field. The checkered, pistol grip wood stocks are good & solid, but the buttstock needs to be repaired or replaced as there's a 3 1/2'' piece broken off on the right side next to the break lever/receiver. The stock has multiple small scrapes, nicks & dings. The metal blue finish rates 40% on the barrels, with areas of loss starting to tone a brown patina. There are abrasions & contusions to the barrels. The case-hardened receiver displays fading case-colors & a developing light brown patina. Bores are excellent. Double triggers. The solid, matted rib holds a small ivory mid-rib bead & large brass front bead. Buttstock carries a ventilated brown rubber recoil pad. LOP: 14 5/8'' overpad, DAH: 2 1/4'', DAC: 1 3/8''.
