Remington Model ''The Sportsman'', CAL: 16GA, MFG: 1948, SN: 1590135, Semi-Auto Shotgun, Choke: IC, 26'' barrel. The left side of the receiver displays a roll stamp engraving of a flying mallard in a pond setting & the right side displays a pheasant in a grassy area. The checkered, flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying virtually no defects. The metal blue finish rates 99%+ overall on the barrel & receiver. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel is fitted with a front bead on top of a small ramp. Buttstock carries a Remington, black plastic buttplate. LOP: 14 1/4''. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 400 to 800
