Browning Model Auto-5, CAL: 20 GA, MFG: 1972, SN: 70145, Semi-Auto Shotgun, Choke: IC, 25 1/2'' barrel with ventilated rib. One of the last Belgium made A-5's before shift to Japan production. The receiver exhibits vine style scroll engraving on both sides as well as some accents & bordering. The original checkered, flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying only a couple minor surface blemishes to wood or original finish. The original metal blue finish on the receiver rates 95%, while the finish on the barrel is toning to a dark plum patina & may not be original, but still very nice. Some of the marking on the barrel are thin. Barrel is stamped ''69518'' which may indicate barrel is a replacement. Gold trigger. Bore is excellent, shows light use. The ventilated rib holds a single front bead. The buttstock carries an original Browning Automatic buttplate. LOP: 14 1/4''. FFL Req - Value: 800 to 1400
