Spanish Mauser Model 1893, CAL: 7 X 57mm. MFG: 1922. SN: RF01002, Bolt action rifle, 28 1/2'' barrel. Two piece original stocks w/ original lacquered finish. Straight grip stock in excellent condition w/ only a few light scratches/dings throughout both lower & upper handguard. Buttstock has some several acceptance /proofs/numbers stampings. Blued military style metal butt plate with just a little wear showing on heel. Barrel retaining about 90% bluing. Receiver showing 95% bluing, bolt is in the white. Receiver ring marked with ''FABRICA DE ARMAS, OVIEDO, 1922'', left side of receiver shows serial number only. Rear sight is v-notch adjustable leaf with graduating marks from 4 to 20. Front sight is windage adjustable inverted V blade. Bore is excellent, bright with sharp rifling. Mechanical function is excellent. Matching serial numbers on receiver, bolt & magazine floorplate. No import stamps on rifle. This rifle still retains original cosmoline in action/ on bolt & appears unfired. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 500 to 1000
