Mauser, Model Unknown, CAL: 8mm. MFG: 1930s ?, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' barrel. One piece straight grain walnut stock w/ original lacquer finish. Checkered pistol grip stock with Schnabel forend, multiple light scratches/dings throughout. Pachmayr Ventilated rubber butt pad. Fully raised rib barrel retains 65% bluing with a portion at the muzzle almost in the white. Receiver showing about 65% bluing as well w/ some small dings. Rear sight is blade with second flip up higher elevation blade. Front sight is fixed blade with dot milled into raised rib. There are what appear to be European front/rear scope mounts. Bore is in good condition with sharp rifling. Mechanical function is good. No import stamps on rifle. Sling swivels on barrel and buttstock. This rifle appears to be German Mauser, however, due to lack of any stampings on barrel or receiver cannot be absolutely certain. Looks to be well done commercial or military conversion hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
