Lee Enfield, Model No. 4 MK 1 Jungle Carbine style, CAL: 303 British, MFG: 1942, SN: L21540 , Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' round barrel. Sporterized walnut stocks in good condition w/ a few light scratches. This rifle has been sporterized & has aftermarket satin silver finish over all metal parts except the buttplate which is solid brass with hatch for cleaning kit. The rear sight is mounted on receiver bridge & has two aperture flip sights one marked ''600''. Front sight is windage adjustable blade sight with protective ears. Bore is darkening w/ light rifling. Sling swivel studs on top & bottom The Lee-Enfield No. 5 rifle MK 1 was a shortened version of the Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifle, manufactured and used by the British. Because it was shortened for use in the jungle, it acquired the unofficial name ''Jungle Carbine'' from some of those who used them. Aftermarket muzzle break/flash suppressor. Missing magazine.
