Description

Martini Henry Model 577/450 Shotgun Conversion, CAL: 577/560, MFG: 1871-1918, SN: 8109, Bolt Action Shotgun. 33'' round barrel. Marked on barrel just ahead of receiver with: ''I over P, M* H, proof marks & serial number. Straight grain, oil finished walnut in fair condition, heel & toe have patch repairs. Straight grip stock that has multiple stamps & numbers Numerous scratches & dings. Rear sight is fixed notched V, w/ ''N.S.C.E.P'' stamped in side of base. Front sight is a blade, that has some impact damage. The barrel & other metal surfaces are in good condition with old arsenal refinish retaining 75% of the original blue on the barrel & receiver. Trigger guard, barrel bands & standard steel buttplate display less bluing from wear. Cleaning rod appears original. Bore is good. Bayonet lug on right side of barrel with MH triangular socket bayonet in original leather/brass scabbard that is in very good condition. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 200 to 600
