Italian Beretta Gardone Model 1938 Carcano, CAL: 6.5, MFG: 1941, SN: UN134, Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' round barrel. Non-checkered straight grip stocks in good condition with matching serial number stamped at base of buttstock, top handguard appears to be more recent replacement that has no finish, The metal blue finish is 65 % barrel, & 65% on receiver with some minor surface blemishes. Buttplate with hinged trapdoor for cleaning rod insert that does contain cleaning rod.. The rifle is fitted with a fixed 200 yard rear sight, front ''V'' blade sight. Bore is fair with some darkening with well defined rifling. Comes with permanently attached folding cruciform style bayonet, which has some rust around the tip. Leather sling on original sling swivels on side of stock. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 500
