U.S. Eddystone, Model 1917, CAL: .30, MFG: 1918, SN: 961141, Bolt Action Rifle. 26'' barrel, Marked on receiver with: ''U.S. MODEL OF 1917'' & serial number. Dark walnut stock with age/military use appropriate dings/dents . Very good wood to metal fitting. Rear sight is folding leaf with protective wings, w/ sliding aperture on raised lea graduated from 200-900 yards in 100 yard increments and 900 to 1600 yards in 50 yard increments, no windage adjustments. Front sight is flat blade with metal protective ears has ''R'' stamps on right/left side of base & 120 stamped on base of sight. Metal surfaces on receiver & bolt are in excellent condition, maintaining 90 + % of blue. Standard military style steel buttplate with latch for cleaning kit which is present. Bore is in excellent condition, bright with highly visible rifling. Olive color canvas sling w/ ''NobuckL - Patd 7-21-14'' stamped on brass fittings. Very nice complete Eddystone model 1917 with matching ''Remington/flaming bomb/ US marked 1917 bayonet/scabbard. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
