CASED Colt 1849 Pocket Pistol, Single Action Revolver, .31 Cal., MFG 1863, SN: 235330, Civil War Era, 5'' barrel. All matching SN pistol, with SN stamped on frame, trigger guard, bottomstrap, cylinder, wedge & arbor. The top barrel flat is marked ''ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA'', Two-line, COLTS PATENT is on the left side of the frame. The frame, barrel & cylinder all shows brown/gray patina with some original blue remaining in protected areas, The wood grips appear original, with original fit & finish being excellent. The finish shows loss mainly along bottom edge. Cylinder timing & action index correctly. Bore is very good, cylinder has visible Stagecoach scene. Tight action. Excellent presentation wood box, with correct period accessories, bullet mold & powder flask, percussion tin & lead bullets. A very nice Civil War era collectible. Antique No FFL Req - Value: 1000 to 2000
