RARE Engraved Moore's Patent Fire Arms Singe Action Belt Revolver, 32 Rim Fire, MFG 1861-63, S/N: 4289, 6'' octagon barrel, Single action revolver. Many of these pistols were carried during the Civil War leaders or by those of a certain level of wealth who could afford such a luxury. Wood grips are very good, with one corner chip to bottom left, plus minor nicks & dings. The backstraps are slightly proud to wood even though the appear correct & not refinished. The silver plating finish is 90%, with edge wear over brass frame. Has standard V rear sight & a replaced or upgraded blade front sight. The SN is located on the bottom of the barrel lug. The pistol appears to index & function properly. A fairly rare engraved & nickeled Civil War era pistol. No FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 2000
