UNUSUAL & RARE Merwin, Hulbert & Co. made by Hopkins & Allen, Side Break, Spur Trigger, Single Action Revolver, 38 Cal., MFG 1885-86, SN 7490. A high quality revolver manufactured by Hopkins & Allen for Merwin, Hulbert & Co. 3 1/2'' barrel. The wood grips are original & solid, but with many nicks, dings & edge chipping. They have been sanded & carry added finish. The metal carries a silver finish, with numerous tiny scratches from use & speckling or rust pit spotting. The finish has been cleaned. Correct half moon front sight & rear groove. Case-hardened hammer. Bore is very good. A scarce Model with the unique side rotating break. Appears to function correctly. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
