BOXED Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless, Cal. 25, Semi-Auto Pistol, MFG 1928, SN 369603, 2'' barrel, The left side of the slide is marked with the two line marking ''COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.'' & ''PAT'D AUG. 25, 1896, APR. 20, 1897, DEC. 22 1903, JAN. 25 1910, JULY 31 1917'', The left upper front of the trigger guard bow is stamped with a ''1'' over the Colt ''VP in an inverted triangle'' proof mark & ''91'' on the opposite side. Nickel finishes are 95%. The pistol was originally fitted with standard factory grips, which have been upgraded to these excellent mother of pearl grips. It outlines from the larger original grips remain visible. The magazine is marked: ''CAL .25/COLT'' on the floor plate. Bore is excellent. Mechanically excellent. Comes in an original early box with cleaning brush, hang tag & paperwork. A complete set in collectors condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
