Colt Model 1908 Pocket Pistol Engraved. SN 75075. Cal. 25 ACP., MFG: 1912, 2'' barrel. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line marking ''COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.'' & ''PAT'D AUG. 25, 1896, APR. 20, 1897, DEC. 22 1903, JAN. 25 1910,'' The left upper front of the trigger guard bow is stamped the Colt ''VP in an inverted triangle''. The slide & frame are custom engraved with very well executed foliate arabesque patterns, with stippled punch dot background. Mounted with Rampant Colt Medallion mother of pearl grips, with a chip to bottom right grip. Much of the original metal blue finish has been lost during the engraving process & from cleaning of the speckled areas fo rust pitting found mostly on the right side, with 40% coverage remaining. Most of the loss seen on the safety/backstrap. Fixed sights. Mechanics appear fine. Very good, bright shiny bore. Comes with Colt factory letter.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
